Looking Beyond the Bigme 7" Color ePaper 4G? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

Comparing the Bigme B7 to alternatives

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 7" 16GB E-Reader

The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 7-Inch E-Reader focuses on distraction-free monochrome reading rather than color or tablet functions. It lacks the Bigme B7's 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, offering only 16GB instead. You give up 4G calling and app versatility for longer battery endurance and a waterproof build. This device suits text-focused readers who prioritize screen simplicity over mobile connectivity or color displays. It is a dedicated e-reader, not a general-purpose tablet like the Bigme B7. You choose this if you want a lightweight, waterproof device for books without the complexity of an operating system that runs apps.

TCL NXTPAPER 11 Gen 2 Tablet with Flip Case

The TCL NXTPAPER 11 Gen 2 Tablet features an 11-inch display, significantly larger than the Bigme B7's 7-inch screen. It includes a flip case and offers 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, matching the Bigme's memory but expanding the canvas for note-taking and digital art. You trade the portable, color E-Ink experience for a larger, traditional tablet surface. This device is ideal for students or artists who value eye comfort and included accessories over raw processing power or the unique E-Ink technology. It fits users who need a versatile Android device for creative tasks rather than portable color reading with 4G calling capabilities.

TCL NXTPAPER 11 Gen 2 8GB RAM Tablet

The TCL NXTPAPER 11 Gen 2 8GB RAM Tablet provides a large, eye-friendly display suitable for digital art and note-taking. It shares the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage of the Bigme B7 but replaces the 7-inch color E-Ink screen with a much larger 11-inch panel. You gain a versatile Android device for creative work but lose the portable, paper-like feel and 4G calling feature. This model is best for users who prioritize screen real estate and eye comfort over compact portability. It is a solid choice for students and artists who need a larger drawing surface and do not require the specific color E-Ink technology found in the Bigme B7.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro 128GB Tablet

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro 128GB Tablet offers a powerful option for students needing large display and power. It features a 12.7-inch screen, far exceeding the Bigme B7's 7-inch size. While it shares the 128GB storage, it is designed for study and media consumption rather than portable color reading. You gain significant processing power and screen space but lose the E-Ink display technology and 4G calling capability. This tablet suits those who want a versatile device for both study and entertainment. It is a better fit for users who prioritize screen size and performance over the unique, paper-like reading experience and mobile connectivity of the Bigme B7.

Lenovo Idea Tab Plus 12.1-Inch 3K Tablet

The Lenovo Idea Tab Plus 12.1-Inch 3K Tablet provides a large, high-resolution display for productivity and digital note-taking. It includes 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, similar to the Bigme B7, but features a 12.1-inch screen instead of 7 inches. You gain a larger canvas and included stylus for productivity but lose the compact portability and color E-Ink technology. This device is ideal for users who prioritize a large, high-resolution display over compact size or cellular connectivity. It fits those who need a versatile tablet for work and media consumption rather than the specific, portable color reading experience offered by the Bigme B7.

Lenovo Idea Tab 11" with Pen

The Lenovo Idea Tab 11" with Pen is a capable Android tablet for users prioritizing screen size and included accessories. It features an 11-inch display, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage, matching the Bigme's memory but offering a much larger screen. You gain a large drawing canvas and stylus for creative tasks but lose the color E-Ink display and 4G calling features. This tablet is best for Android users who want a versatile device for drawing and media consumption. It is a solid choice for those who value screen real estate and included accessories over the unique, portable, and connected reading experience provided by the Bigme B7.
