How these cases compare
CoBak 7" Kindle Paperwhite Stand Case
The CoBak case targets 7-inch Kindle Paperwhite owners specifically. It uses PU leather and includes an auto sleep/wake feature, which the HoYiXi case lacks. This model offers a dedicated magnetic closure and integrated kickstand for hands-free reading. You gain precise fit and automatic power management but lose the ability to use the case with other eReader brands. If you own a 12th-gen Kindle and want brand-specific protection with wake capabilities, this is a better choice than the universal HoYiXi option.
eMorevalue 7-Inch Waterproof E-Reader Pouch
The eMorevalue pouch is designed for outdoor use near water. It features a three-tier PVC seal to shield 6 to 7-inch devices from sand and moisture. Unlike the HoYiXi case, it does not offer a stand or leather protection. You trade the foldable viewing angles for waterproof durability and a lanyard for carrying. This option is ideal if you read by the pool or beach. It maintains touchscreen functionality while sealed. Choose this if environmental protection is your priority over the structural support and scratch resistance provided by the HoYiXi case.
DaFong 7" Kindle Oasis Clear TPU Case with Hand Strap
The DaFong case is made specifically for the Kindle Oasis. It uses clear TPU material and includes a hand strap for secure grip. This model provides exact corner drop protection tailored to the Oasis shape. You give up universal compatibility, as it will not fit other 7-inch devices. The HoYiXi case fits multiple brands via elastic straps. Pick the DaFong case if you own a Kindle Oasis and want a slim, transparent look with a dedicated strap. It offers better physical fit for that specific device than the broad universal HoYiXi design.
MoKo 7-Inch Kindle Paperwhite Case with Hand Strap
The MoKo case fits the 7-inch Kindle Paperwhite 12th Gen 2024. It is a slim, transparent TPU case with a hand strap. This case does not support older Kindle models or other tablet sizes. It lacks the foldable stand and elastic strap system of the HoYiXi case. You get a precise fit and lightweight protection for your specific device. Choose MoKo if you want a minimal profile for your 2024 Paperwhite. The HoYiXi case is better if you need a stand or want to use one case for different eReader models.
WALNEW 6-7" Universal Waterproof Case
The WALNEW pouch protects 6 to 7-inch eReaders from water and dirt. It uses a triple zip lock PVC enclosure for simple outdoor protection. Unlike the HoYiXi case, it has no stand, leather cover, or hand strap. You sacrifice the ability to read hands-free or view the screen at an angle. This case is lightweight and focuses solely on weather resistance. Pick this option if you need a cheap, waterproof sleeve for poolside reading. The HoYiXi case is superior for general protection and viewing comfort.
PocketBook 6-Inch Shell Case
The PocketBook shell case is for 6-inch PocketBook e-readers. It provides dedicated protection and automatic sleep functionality. This case does not fit 7-inch devices or other brands. It lacks the hand strap and foldable stand found in the HoYiXi case. You gain auto wake/sleep features for your specific PocketBook device. Choose this if you travel with a 6-inch PocketBook. The HoYiXi case is better for larger 7-inch devices and offers more versatile viewing options through its stand feature.
