6 Best Alternatives to the Apple iPad 11-inch 128GB (Renewed) (2026)

How these models differ from the base iPad

Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (Cellular, 128GB)

The iPad Pro 12.9-inch adds cellular connectivity and a larger 12.9-inch display to the 128GB storage found in the base model. You gain a bigger screen for media and work, along with mobile data access. The trade-off is a heavier build at 1 pound compared to the 1.05-pound base unit. The dimensions are also wider and taller. This choice suits users who need on-the-go internet and extra screen real estate. It is less portable for one-handed use. You get professional-grade features in a larger form factor. The silver color matches the base model. This option is best if you prioritize connectivity and size over compactness.

Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch 128GB (4th Gen)

This 12.9-inch iPad Pro Wi-Fi model keeps the 128GB storage but increases the screen size significantly. It weighs only 10.4 ounces, making it lighter than the 1.05-pound base iPad. You get a superior display and advanced sensors for creative work. The trade-off is the larger physical footprint, which reduces portability. The dimensions are 8.9 by 11.5 inches. This model is ideal for users who value screen real estate and precision over compact design. It lacks cellular data, matching the base model's connectivity. The silver finish is consistent. You should pick this if you need a high-refresh-rate screen and do not require mobile internet access.

Apple iPad 10.2-inch 128GB Silver

The iPad 10.2-inch offers 128GB storage in a smaller, more compact package. It weighs 1.09 pounds, slightly more than the base 11-inch model. The screen is smaller, which improves portability for travel. You get a traditional design with a headphone jack, which the base model lacks. The dimensions are 9.8 by 6.8 inches. This choice suits users who prioritize a smaller footprint and wired audio over a larger display. It is less modern in connectivity options. The silver color remains the same. You should select this if you want a budget-friendly tablet that fits easily in bags. It is best for compact use rather than media-heavy tasks.

Apple iPad 11-inch (A16, 5G Cellular)

The iPad 11-inch with 5G cellular adds mobile connectivity and Touch ID to the 128GB storage spec. It weighs 1.06 pounds, nearly identical to the base model. You gain 5G access for faster mobile data and fingerprint security. The trade-off is the need for a cellular plan. The dimensions are 7.07 by 9.79 inches. This model suits users who need secure login and on-the-go internet. It is slightly heavier than the base unit. The silver color matches. You should pick this if you prioritize the A16 chip performance and 5G access. It is ideal for those who want modern security features and mobile data without changing the form factor significantly.

Apple iPad Air 11-inch 128GB Wi-Fi

The iPad Air 11-inch provides 128GB storage with a lighter build at 1.36 pounds. It features a purple color option, differing from the silver base model. The dimensions are 9.74 by 7.02 inches, offering a similar footprint. You get a balanced mix of performance and portability for everyday tasks. The trade-off is the lack of cellular data, similar to the base model. This choice suits users who prioritize a lightweight form factor. It is best for portable everyday computing. The Wi-Fi only connectivity matches the base unit. You should pick this if you want a modern design with efficient performance. It is ideal for users who do not need mobile internet access.

Apple iPad Pro 12.9-Inch (M2, Cellular)

The iPad Pro 12.9-inch with M2 adds cellular connectivity and a larger screen to the 128GB storage spec. It weighs 1.51 pounds, significantly more than the base model. You gain a premium large-screen experience with high-resolution display capabilities. The trade-off is the increased weight and bulk. The dimensions are 8.46 by 11 inches. This model suits professionals who need cellular data and advanced performance. It is less portable for casual use. The silver color matches the base unit. You should pick this if you prioritize screen size and M2 performance. It is ideal for users who need a powerful device for professional tasks and mobile connectivity.
