The Bigme B6 Pro 6" Color Android E-Reader delivers high storage and a color display for users who want Android flexibility on a 6-inch screen. If you are looking for bigme b6 pro 6 color e reader alternatives, you might want a different spec, size, feature or brand. This device runs Android 14 with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. It features a vibrant color E-ink screen and 36-level adjustable front lighting. These specs make it ideal for productivity and reading, but they also drive up the price and weight.
You might prefer a lighter device or one with waterproofing for library use. The alternatives were chosen because their specs overlap with the original. The Kobo Clara Colour offers waterproofing and audiobooks but has less storage. The Musnap Neo 2 focuses on speed with E Ink Carta technology. Other Bigme models provide different screen sizes, such as 7-inch or 10.3-inch options, or lower storage tiers. Each option serves a specific need, from casual reading to heavy app usage. Review these options to find the right balance for your routine.
Our top pick: Bigme 6" Color Android E-Reader.
How the Alternatives Compare
Kobo Clara Colour 6-Inch Color E-Reader
The Kobo Clara Colour offers a 6-inch E Ink Kaleido 3 display, matching the Bigme B6 Pro’s screen size but running a closed OS instead of Android 14. You give up the 256GB storage and app flexibility for a more streamlined library experience. This model includes waterproofing, a feature absent from the Bigme, making it safer for bath or poolside reading. It also supports audiobooks and dark mode. If you prioritize durability and library integration over custom Android apps, the Kobo is a practical choice. It lacks the expandable storage of the Bigme, relying on its internal 16GB capacity.
Musnap Neo 2 6-Inch Android E-Reader
The Musnap Neo 2 features a 6-inch E Ink Carta display, differing from the Bigme’s color screen by offering a monochrome experience. This model prioritizes speed and storage efficiency in a portable format. While the Bigme provides 256GB of storage and color, the Musnap focuses on smooth Android performance for black-and-white reading. It suits users who do not need color images and want a lighter, faster device for text-heavy content. The trade-off is the loss of color vibrancy, but you gain a device optimized for speed and standard e-reading tasks without the bulk of higher-spec color panels.
Bigme 6-Inch Color E-Reader
This Bigme model shares the 6-inch color display and 256GB storage of the B6 Pro but adds 4G connectivity and stylus input. It is designed for users who need mobile data and note-taking capabilities without switching devices. You get the same Android flexibility and high storage capacity, but with added cellular calling and writing features. This makes it better for users who require on-the-go updates and annotation tools. The trade-off is potentially higher power consumption due to 4G and the added weight of stylus support. It is the premium option for those needing connectivity and writing tools.
Bigme B6 6-Inch Color E-Reader
The Bigme B6 offers a 6-inch color display and Android 14, similar to the B6 Pro, but with only 32GB of storage. This is a significant reduction from the 256GB found in the original, making it less suitable for users who download many large apps or offline content. It serves as a middle ground for casual users who want color and Android freedom without the heavy specs. The device is lighter and more affordable, though specific price data is not provided. It is ideal for readers who prioritize portability and basic functionality over extensive storage and multitasking capabilities.
Bigme 10.3" Color E-Paper Tablet
The Bigme B10 features a 10.3-inch color display, significantly larger than the 6-inch screen of the B6 Pro. It includes 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, matching the B6 Pro’s memory and storage while providing a much larger canvas for reading and writing. The inclusion of a stylus makes it ideal for note-taking and detailed work. This model is better for users who prioritize screen real estate and productivity over portability. It is heavier and less convenient for one-handed reading. The trade-off is the loss of pocketability, but you gain a tablet-like experience with e-ink technology for extensive annotation and multitasking.
Bigme 7-Inch Color E-Reader with 4G
The Bigme B7 Pro offers a 7-inch color display, larger than the 6-inch B6 Pro, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It supports 4G calling, adding connectivity options not present in the original. This model is better for users who want a larger screen for reading and heavy Android app usage. The increased RAM ensures smoother performance for multitasking. The trade-off is a larger, heavier device that is less portable. It is ideal for users who prioritize screen size and cellular connectivity over the compact form factor of the 6-inch model. It fits those who need a balance between tablet-like size and e-ink efficiency.
