Our top pick: Bigme 7-Inch Color E-Reader with Stylus.
How alternatives differ from Bigme
Bigme 7-Inch Color eReader with Stylus
This model shares the same 7-inch screen size, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage as the original Bigme B751C. The primary difference is the chassis color, which is white rather than black. It also includes a stylus for note-taking, matching the original feature set. You get identical Android 14 performance and Kaleido 3 display technology. The physical dimensions and weight remain the same at 6.17 ounces. This option suits you if you prefer a lighter-looking device for color reading and document annotation but want the exact same internal specifications and accessory package as the top pick.
Musnap 7" Color 64GB E-Reader
The Musnap Ocean C offers a 7-inch color display and 64GB storage with 4GB RAM, similar to the Bigme. However, it does not include a stylus in the box. The device is slightly larger and heavier, measuring 6.2 inches in length and 0.27 inches thick. It runs Android for app flexibility and color content viewing. You give up the included writing tool and protective case found with the Bigme. This alternative fits users who prioritize raw display size and multimedia performance over bundled accessories and prefer a slightly more substantial build for reading color comics and manga on a spacious screen.
Kobo Libra Colour 7" E-Reader
The Kobo Libra Colour features a 7-inch color display but uses a different operating system than the Android-based Bigme. It includes physical buttons for navigation, which the Bigme lacks. This device is waterproof and supports audiobooks, offering durability the Bigme does not specify. It weighs 7.05 ounces, making it slightly heavier than the 6.17-ounce Bigme. You trade Android app flexibility and included stylus support for tactile controls and water resistance. This pick is best for readers who value robust build quality and hands-free button operation over customizable software and note-taking capabilities.
Bigme 6-Inch Color Android E-Reader
This Bigme model reduces the screen size to 6 inches while keeping 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It runs Android 14, allowing you to install third-party apps for color reading. The device is more compact, measuring 5.91 inches in length, though it is slightly thicker at 0.35 inches. You give up the larger 7-inch display and the included stylus found in the B751C. This alternative suits buyers who prioritize portability and a smaller footprint for on-the-go reading. It offers the same Android flexibility and storage capacity in a more manageable form factor for those who do not need the extra screen real estate.
Bigme 7-Inch Color E-Paper Tablet
This Bigme B751C S variant maintains the 7-inch color e-paper display and Android 14 operating system. It includes 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, matching the original specifications. The main difference is the white chassis color. It is designed for color e-paper note-taking and general reading. You get the same core performance and screen technology as the black model. This option is ideal for users who want the exact same functional capabilities and Android flexibility but prefer a white aesthetic for their portable 7-inch form factor. It serves as a direct color alternative without changes to internal hardware or software features.
Wisoqu 6-Inch 300 PPI 4GB RAM E-Reader
The Wisoqu reader features a 6-inch display with 300 PPI clarity, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage. It includes Bluetooth connectivity for audio, a feature not highlighted in the Bigme specs. The device is compact, focusing on clear text and wireless listening options. You give up the larger 7-inch color screen and the included stylus. This alternative fits readers who prioritize audio connectivity and a smaller size over maximum display space. It offers solid Android performance for reading but sacrifices the vibrant color experience and note-taking accessories of the Bigme B751C for a more focused, portable reading experience.
