Specs and Features Compared
Device Compatibility
Compatibility is the most critical distinction between these two cases. The CoBak Remarkable 2 10.3-Inch Folio Case is engineered specifically for the 10.3-inch reMarkable 2 tablet released in 2020. It features precise cutouts and a shape designed to fit this older model perfectly. In contrast, the CoBak Remarkable Paper Pro Folio Case is tailored exclusively for the 11.8-inch reMarkable Paper Pro Color Tablet released in 2024. The manufacturer explicitly notes that the Paper Pro case does not fit the reMarkable 2. You must choose the case that matches your specific tablet generation to ensure a secure fit.
Screen Size Support
The screen size determines which tablet each case protects. The CoBak Remarkable 2 10.3-Inch Folio Case supports a 10.3-inch display, aligning with the standard reMarkable 2 dimensions. The CoBak Remarkable Paper Pro Folio Case is designed for a larger 11.8-inch screen, accommodating the newer Paper Pro model. While the attributes for the Paper Pro case list an 8-inch screen in one section, the title, key specs, and features consistently reference the 11.8-inch device. This size difference is fundamental, as the cases are not interchangeable due to the distinct physical dimensions of the tablets they are built to hold.
Protective Materials
Both cases utilize similar materials to shield your device from daily wear. The CoBak Remarkable 2 10.3-Inch Folio Case features an exterior made of premium waterproof PU leather. The interior includes anti-slip material and a 100% PC back cover for structural protection. The CoBak Remarkable Paper Pro Folio Case also uses high-quality waterproof PU leather on the outside. Its interior similarly boasts anti-slip material, with a 100% PC corner and back shell. Both designs prioritize durability and water resistance, ensuring your tablet remains safe from scratches, dust, and accidental drops.
Stylus Storage
Each case includes dedicated storage for your writing instrument. The CoBak Remarkable 2 10.3-Inch Folio Case comes with a built-in pen holder that uses magnetic attachment to keep the stylus secure. It also includes a separate, small handy refill storage case for replacement pen tips. The CoBak Remarkable Paper Pro Folio Case features a built-in pen holder that uses the pen's own adsorption for a home. It similarly includes a small refill holder for nibs. Both solutions keep your stylus and tips organized and prevent loss during travel or daily use.
Smart Features
One case offers an additional electronic feature that the other does not. The CoBak Remarkable Paper Pro Folio Case includes an auto sleep/wake functionality. The magnetic folio activates the device when opened and puts it to sleep when closed, which helps optimize battery life during extended standby times. The data for the CoBak Remarkable 2 10.3-Inch Folio Case does not mention this specific auto sleep/wake capability. While both cases provide physical protection and pen storage, the Paper Pro case adds convenience through this automated power management feature.
Color Options
You have different color choices depending on the case you select. The CoBak Remarkable 2 10.3-Inch Folio Case is available in 31 variations, including Black, Emerald Green, Fabric Blue, Silver, Brown, Rose Gold, Pink, and Sky Blue. The CoBak Remarkable Paper Pro Folio Case offers 21 variations, with options like Fabric Gray, Black, Sage, Blue and white floral, Rosegold, Black glitter, and Black notebook.
