Who it fits
Good fit for
This pouch is ideal for readers who enjoy water-based activities like swimming, snorkeling, or beach visits. If you use a 6 to 7 inch e-reader, such as a Kindle Paperwhite or Kobo Libra 2, this dry bag offers peace of mind. The adjustable lanyard makes it convenient to wear around your neck while you relax by the pool or on a boat. The touchscreen compatibility means you can still navigate your books without exposing your device to moisture.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need a case for a device larger than 7 inches. The inner dimensions are fixed, so it will not fit larger tablets or e-readers. Additionally, this is a dry bag, not a hard shell case. It does not provide impact protection for drops or bumps. If you are concerned about physical damage rather than water exposure, a rigid case with shock absorption would be a better choice for your daily carry.
Verdict: The eMorevalue pouch is a practical, lightweight solution for keeping your 6 to 7 inch e-reader dry during water activities. It offers essential protection without adding significant bulk to your gear.
Key specs explained
Material: PVC
The pouch is constructed from PVC, a synthetic plastic polymer known for its water resistance and durability. This material creates a reliable barrier against rain, snow, and splashes, keeping your e-reader dry during outdoor activities. Unlike fabric covers, PVC offers superior protection for swimming or beach use, ensuring your device remains safe from moisture damage.
Form Factor: Dry bag pouch
This design functions as a sealed dry bag, fully enclosing your device to prevent water ingress. The pouch style allows you to submerge the unit safely, making it ideal for poolside reading or water sports. You can hang it securely while swimming, providing a practical solution for keeping your e-reader accessible and protected in wet environments without risking damage.
Compatible Screen Size: 6 to 7 inch
The pouch accommodates e-readers and tablets with screen sizes ranging from six to seven inches. It fits popular models like the Kindle Oasis, Paperwhite, and Kobo Libra. This versatility allows you to use one protective case for multiple devices. If your device falls within this size range, you can trust it will fit securely without being too loose or tight.
Weight: 2.47 ounces
Weighing just 2.47 ounces, the pouch adds minimal bulk to your carrying load. This lightweight construction ensures it does not weigh you down during travel or active use. You can carry it comfortably in a pocket or bag without noticing the extra weight, making it a convenient accessory for daily commutes or vacation trips where every ounce counts.

The pouch weighs 2.47 ounces and features a black finish. It includes an adjustable lanyard, allowing you to hang it around your neck freely. The design prioritizes practical protection and usability in harsh conditions, making it suitable for outdoor enthusiasts who need reliable gear.
Setup And Daily Use Guide
Setting up this eMorevalue pouch is straightforward. You simply open the dry bag and insert your compatible device. The listing recommends placing a tissue inside the pouch before first use to verify there are no holes. This simple test confirms the integrity of the waterproof seal. If the tissue remains dry, the bag is ready for use. If you detect any quality issues, the manufacturer suggests contacting them directly.
Regarding compatibility, this pouch fits most 6 to 7 inch electronic book readers and tablets. It is explicitly designed for the 7-inch Kindle Oasis 10th Generation, the 6.8-inch Kindle Paperwhite models, and various Kobo devices like the Libra 2 and Clara HD. The included adjustable lanyard lets you hang the pouch around your neck, keeping it secure and accessible. Note that the touch windows do not support Touch ID fingerprint recognition. Before You Buy This Pouch
You should verify your device fits the inner dimensions of 8.0 by 6.2 inches before purchasing. This pouch supports 6 to 7 inch screens, including the Kindle Oasis, Paperwhite, and Kobo Libra 2. If your tablet is larger, it will not fit. You must also check if your device uses Touch ID, as this pouch does not support fingerprint authentication. The transparent window allows full touch functionality for photos and emails. For upkeep, simply rinse the PVC material with fresh water after beach or pool use to remove salt and chlorine. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use. This accessory complements your e-reader by adding protection during water activities. It does not replace the need for a standard case for daily dry use. Consider this only if you frequently swim, kayak, or visit water parks. It is a specialized tool for wet environments, not a general-purpose cover.
