EMSEEK 6-7" Waterproof E-Reader Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How each alternative compares

WALNEW 6-7" Waterproof E-Reader Pouch

The WALNEW pouch is noticeably lighter at 2.2 ounces, compared to the EMSEEK’s 3.53 ounces. It is also more compact, measuring 7.87 by 5.91 inches, whereas the EMSEEK is 9.45 by 6.3 inches. This makes the WALNEW a better choice if you prioritize a slim profile and easy portability. You lose the floating capability and the large touch window found on the EMSEEK. The WALNEW focuses on simple, effective waterproofing for standard 6-7 inch readers without extra bulk. If you do not need to keep your device afloat or interact with the screen while submerged, this lighter option reduces the weight in your bag or pocket significantly during outdoor activities.

eMorevalue 7-Inch Waterproof E-Reader Pouch

The eMorevalue pouch offers a budget-friendly alternative at 2.47 ounces, which is lighter than the EMSEEK’s 3.53 ounces. It is designed specifically for 6-7 inch e-readers and provides essential waterproof protection. You give up the floating feature and the large transparent touch window that the EMSEEK includes. This model is ideal if you want basic dry protection without the added weight or complex sealing mechanisms. It suits readers who prioritize lightweight portability and cost over advanced features like touch usability underwater. The black color option provides a neutral look, differing from the white EMSEEK. It is a practical pick for casual water sports where maximum device interaction is not required.

JYGSFCHDC 7-Inch Waterproof E-Reader Pouch

The JYGSFCHDC pouch is another lightweight option, weighing just 2.47 ounces, significantly less than the EMSEEK’s 3.53 ounces. It is designed for 6-7 inch e-readers and focuses on essential waterproofing for water activities. You sacrifice the floating design and the large touch-friendly window present in the EMSEEK model. This makes it suitable if you only need to keep your device dry without interacting with it while submerged. The black color offers a different aesthetic compared to the white EMSEEK. It is a straightforward choice for readers who want reliable protection without extra features or weight. This pouch is best for those who prioritize simplicity and minimal bulk during beach trips or swimming.

DRLOKPAK 13-Inch Waterproof E-Reader Pouch

The DRLOKPAK pouch is designed for much larger 13-inch tablets, not 6-7 inch e-readers. It measures 13.4 by 9.84 inches and weighs significantly more than the EMSEEK. This option is only relevant if you are protecting a large tablet rather than a standard e-reader. You gain robust waterproofing for bigger devices but lose the compact size and specific fit for smaller screens. It is not a direct alternative for EMSEEK users unless you have a 13-inch device. The white color matches the EMSEEK, but the form factor is entirely different. Choose this if your primary need is protecting a large tablet in wet environments, ignoring the 6-7 inch compatibility of the original.

NAWVNMI Kindle Oasis Waterproof Case

The NAWVNMI case is specifically designed for the Kindle Oasis 9th or 10th generation, not universal 6-7 inch readers. It features auto sleep/wake functionality, which the EMSEEK lacks. This case offers durable synthetic leather coverage for daily use, differing from the TPU waterproof pouch material of the EMSEEK. You gain device-specific protection and convenience features but lose universal waterproofing and touch screen access while submerged. It is ideal for Kindle Oasis owners who want auto wake/sleep and screen protection during daily use. If you need general waterproofing for various devices, this specialized case is not suitable. It prioritizes daily usability and specific device fit over broad water resistance capabilities.

NAWVNMI 7" Kindle Oasis Waterproof Case

This NAWVNMI case is another specialized option for the Kindle Oasis 9th or 10th generation. It includes auto sleep/wake features, providing convenience for daily use that the EMSEEK does not offer. The synthetic leather construction differs from the TPU material of the EMSEEK, offering a different feel and durability profile. You lose the universal waterproofing and touch screen accessibility while submerged that the EMSEEK provides. This case is best for Kindle Oasis owners who value auto wake/sleep and screen protection over general water resistance. It is not a suitable alternative if you need to protect your e-reader in wet environments. Choose this if your primary need is daily device protection with specific convenience features for your Oasis model.
