You get two films, which is useful for replacements. The PET material feels good and removes cleanly. If you use a case, this film works with it. It is a practical choice for protecting your e-reader display from scratches while improving readability in bright conditions.
Who should skip it
Skip this if you own a different e-reader model. The data lists only the Kobo Libra Colour and Libra 2. It does not fit other devices. You might also skip it if you prefer a glossy screen. If you need a hard shell case, you must buy that separately. This product is strictly for the front display.
Verdict: This is a spec-driven protector for Kobo Libra users who want glare reduction. It offers solid PET durability and precise fit.
Key specs explained for this protector
Material: PET
This screen protector uses PET film, which stands for polyethylene terephthalate. You get a durable layer that resists scratches and daily wear. The material offers a smooth hand-feeling while maintaining flexibility. It ensures the protector stays flat on your device without bubbling. When shopping, look for PET to ensure basic scratch resistance without the heavy cost of glass.
Surface Finish: Matte, anti-glare
The matte finish reduces reflections from sunlight or strong indoor lights. You can read comfortably in bright conditions without squinting or moving to shade. This surface diffuses light rather than reflecting it directly back at your eyes. It is ideal for outdoor reading or sunny rooms. Compare this with glossy protectors if you prefer sharper image contrast over glare reduction.
Compatible Device: Kobo Libra Colour, Kobo Libra 2
This film is cut specifically for the 7-inch Kobo Libra models. It fits the Kobo Libra Colour and the Kobo Libra 2 released in 2021. You must ensure your device matches one of these exact models for proper alignment. It will not fit other e-readers or different screen sizes. Check your device model number before purchasing to avoid misalignment or poor coverage.
Pack Size: 2
You receive two screen protectors in this package. This allows you to have a spare for future replacements. If you make an error during installation or if one protector gets damaged, you can easily swap it out. It provides better value than buying single units separately. You can keep one sealed for later use or apply one immediately.
Screen Size: 7"
This protector is designed for a 7-inch display. The dimensions match the screen area of the compatible Kobo devices. You get edge-to-edge coverage that protects the full display area. It ensures precise cutouts that align with your device’s physical buttons and sensors. Verify your e-reader has a 7-inch screen to ensure this protector provides full coverage without overlapping the bezel.
