6 Best Alternatives to the MoKo 6-7 Inch Padded Zipper (2026)

How alternatives compare to MoKo

WALNEW 6-7" Universal Waterproof Case

The WALNEW case prioritizes waterproofing over the MoKo sleeve's water-resistant nylon. While MoKo offers a flannel-lined interior for shock absorption, WALNEW focuses on keeping your device dry in wet environments like beaches or pools. It weighs 2.2 ounces, making it lighter than the 3.25-ounce MoKo option. However, it lacks the dual pockets found in the MoKo design for organizing small accessories. If you need splash protection for outdoor activities, this blue case suits you better. You give up the slim, padded feel of the MoKo for specialized water resistance. This choice fits readers who prioritize keeping their e-reader dry over having extra storage pockets or a soft lining.

CoBak 7" Kindle Paperwhite Stand Case

The CoBak case differs significantly by including a built-in stand and hand strap, features absent in the MoKo sleeve. It is made of PU leather rather than nylon and flannel, offering a different tactile experience. At 6 ounces, it is nearly twice as heavy as the MoKo sleeve. The CoBak model is designed specifically for 7-inch Kindle devices, whereas MoKo supports a broader range of 6 to 7-inch readers. You gain hands-free viewing support and a secure grip with the CoBak. However, you lose the lightweight portability and compact dimensions of the MoKo. This option is ideal if you want a protective cover that also serves as a reading stand, rather than a simple sleeve for travel.

Fintie 7-Inch Kobo Libra Stand Case

The Fintie case for Kobo Libra owners provides a precise fit for 7-inch Kobo devices, unlike the universal MoKo sleeve. It features a secure closure mechanism, which the MoKo achieves with a zipper. Weighing 5.29 ounces, it is heavier than the MoKo option. The Fintie case includes a stand function, adding utility that the sleeve does not offer. However, it provides no protection against water or drops, a key strength of the MoKo's padded design. You trade shock absorption and water resistance for a tailored fit and stand functionality. This alternative suits Kobo Libra users who need a stable viewing angle and do not require the extra bulk protection of a padded sleeve.

EMSEEK 6-7" Waterproof E-Reader Pouch

The EMSEEK pouch is designed for waterproof protection, similar to the WALNEW option but in white. It features a clear window for visibility, which the MoKo sleeve does not have. The EMSEEK pouch is larger, measuring 9.45 inches in length, compared to the MoKo's 8.27 inches. It weighs 3.53 ounces, slightly more than the MoKo. While MoKo offers internal pockets and a flannel lining, the EMSEEK focuses on keeping your device dry during water activities. You give up the organizational features and soft interior of the MoKo for specialized water resistance. This choice is best for readers who swim or kayak and need to keep their e-reader visible and dry, rather than those seeking a slim, padded travel sleeve.

Fintie Slim 7-Inch Kobo Libra Case

The Fintie Slim Case is tailored for Kobo Libra Colour and Libra 2 models, offering a precise fit unlike the universal MoKo sleeve. It is designed for daily protection without adding bulk. The MoKo sleeve weighs 3.25 ounces, while the Fintie slim case is lighter and more compact. The Fintie option lacks the padded interior and dual pockets of the MoKo. It does not offer water resistance or shock absorption features. You trade the protective padding and storage capabilities of the MoKo for a sleek, form-fitting cover. This alternative is suitable for Kobo Libra owners who want minimal protection and prefer a case that closely matches the shape of their device, rather than a versatile sleeve for various e-readers.

Zcooooool 7" Kindle Oasis Clear TPU Case

The Zcooooool case is a clear TPU cover for 7-inch Kindle Oasis models, providing a slim profile unlike the padded MoKo sleeve. It weighs significantly less than the 3.25-ounce MoKo option. The transparent design allows you to see the device color, which the opaque MoKo sleeve does not. It offers basic corner protection but lacks the water-resistant nylon exterior and flannel lining of the MoKo. You give up shock absorption, water resistance, and storage pockets for a minimalistic, transparent cover. This choice is ideal for Kindle Oasis owners who want essential protection without adding bulk. It suits readers who prioritize a slim aesthetic and do not need the extra padding or organizational features of the MoKo sleeve.
