How each alternative compares
PocketBook Era 7-Inch Auto-Sleep Shell Cover
The PocketBook Era Shell Cover is a dedicated shell for PocketBook Era devices, whereas the MoKo case fits Kindle Paperwhite and Colorsoft models. This alternative weighs 4.59 ounces, which is lighter than the MoKo case at 6.03 ounces. It features auto sleep and wake functions to save battery. You give up the 360-degree rotating stand and wireless charging support found in the MoKo case. This option is best for PocketBook users who prioritize lightweight protection and battery efficiency over multi-angle viewing positions. It lacks the magnetic detachment and clear back customization available in the MoKo design.
Kobo Libra Colour 7" Clear Case
The Kobo Libra Colour Clear Case is designed for Kobo devices, not Kindle Paperwhite or Colorsoft models. It is significantly lighter at 1.8 ounces compared to the MoKo case's 6.03 ounces. This case offers a slim, transparent profile with scratch-resistant properties. You sacrifice the rotating stand, magnetic detachment, and wireless charging compatibility of the MoKo case. The Kobo case does not include a stand function or auto wake/sleep features in its listed specs. It is suitable for users who want minimal bulk and basic protection for their Kobo Libra Colour without the extra weight or stand functionality of the MoKo alternative.
MoKo 7-Inch Kindle Folio Case
The MoKo 7-Inch Kindle Folio Case is another option for Kindle devices, similar to the original but with a different form factor. It weighs 4.33 ounces, making it lighter than the rotating case at 6.03 ounces. This folio case offers a slim profile at 0.59 inches thick, compared to the 0.71 inches of the rotating version. You lose the 360-degree rotation and wireless charging capabilities. The folio design prioritizes portability and a lightweight feel over adjustable viewing angles. It is ideal for readers who carry their device frequently and prefer a simple, thin cover without the bulk of a rotating stand mechanism.
CoBak 7-Inch Folio Case with Stand
The CoBak 7-Inch Folio Case with Stand is designed for 7-inch e-readers, including the 12th Gen Kindle Paperwhite. It weighs 2.12 ounces, which is much lighter than the MoKo case at 6.03 ounces. This case features a foldable stand and a waterproof build. You give up the 360-degree magnetic rotation and wireless charging support. The CoBak case offers a thinner profile at 0.39 inches thick. It is a practical choice for users who need water resistance and a simple stand for hands-free viewing, rather than the versatile multi-angle rotation and detachable clear back of the MoKo rotating case.
WALNEW 6-7" Universal Waterproof Case
The WALNEW Universal Waterproof Case fits 6-7 inch e-readers, offering broad compatibility compared to the MoKo case's specific fit for Kindle Paperwhite and Colorsoft. It weighs 2.2 ounces, significantly less than the MoKo case's 6.03 ounces. This case provides waterproof protection, which the MoKo case does not offer. You sacrifice the rotating stand, magnetic detachment, and wireless charging features. The WALNEW case is bulkier in length at 7.87 inches. It is best for users who need water resistance for beach or poolside reading and do not require the advanced stand or charging capabilities of the MoKo rotating case.

The Fintie case has a different form factor optimized for Kobo devices. It is suitable for Kobo Libra owners who value a hand strap and basic stand functionality.
