The Strapsicle case offers a slim, transparent shield that supports straps and weighs just 1.76 ounces. It is designed for the Kindle Paperwhite 11th Gen and keeps the device visible. However, you might need a cover for a different e-reader model or a specific form factor like a flip or shell design. You may also prefer a case with auto sleep-wake functionality or a different color palette. These alternatives were chosen because their specifications overlap with the original product's core purpose of protection and portability. The list includes options for the PocketBook Era and the 6-inch Kindle 11th Gen. Each item provides distinct advantages based on its specific dimensions, weight, and material properties. You can compare these specs to find the best fit for your reading habits and device type.
Our top pick: Strapsicle Kindle Paperwhite 11th Gen Clear Case.
How these cases compare
PocketBook Era 7-Inch Shell Cover
The PocketBook Era Shell Cover targets a different device entirely. It is designed for the 7-inch PocketBook Era rather than the Kindle Paperwhite 11th Gen. This cover measures 5.45 by 6.23 inches and weighs 4.55 ounces. It is significantly heavier than the Strapsicle case, which tips the scales at 1.76 ounces. The material is not specified as transparent silicone, meaning it will hide your device's original look. You should choose this if you own a PocketBook Era and need a lightweight, blue shell cover. It does not offer the strap compatibility or clear visibility of the Strapsicle option. This is a dedicated accessory for a specific e-reader brand.
PocketBook Era 7-Inch Flip Cover
This PocketBook Flip Cover is another option for PocketBook Era owners. It features a flip form factor in black, unlike the transparent shell of the Strapsicle case. The dimensions are 7.09 by 5.51 inches, and it weighs 2.89 ounces. While lighter than the blue shell variant, it is still heavier than the 1.76-ounce Strapsicle case. It provides auto sleep-wake functionality, which the Strapsicle case does not explicitly list. The black color offers less visibility of your device compared to the clear silicone design. Pick this if you prefer a flip cover style and own a PocketBook Era. It does not fit Kindle Paperwhite devices, so it is not a direct alternative for your current hardware.
PocketBook Era 7-Inch Auto-Sleep Shell Cover
The PocketBook Era Auto-Sleep Shell Cover is built for the 7-inch PocketBook Era. It includes auto sleep and wake features, which are not mentioned for the Strapsicle case. This black shell cover weighs 4.59 ounces, making it more than twice as heavy as the Strapsicle case at 1.76 ounces. Its dimensions are 7.09 by 7.05 inches. It is designed for travel use, offering essential protection without adding excessive bulk. However, it lacks the transparent design that showcases your device's original look. You should select this if you have a PocketBook Era and want sleep functionality. It is not compatible with Kindle Paperwhite 11th Gen devices, so it serves a different audience.
PocketBook Era 7-Inch Flip Cover
This PocketBook Flip Cover in shiny beige is also for the PocketBook Era. It offers a flip form factor and weighs 2.82 ounces. This is heavier than the Strapsicle case but lighter than the shell variants. It includes smart sleep functionality, a feature absent in the Strapsicle data. The beige color provides a different aesthetic compared to the clear silicone of the Strapsicle case. It does not offer strap compatibility or transparent visibility. Choose this if you prefer a flip cover for your PocketBook Era and value a slim profile. It is not designed for Kindle Paperwhite devices, so it does not replace the Strapsicle case for your specific e-reader.
MoKo Case for 6" Kindle 11th Gen
The MoKo Case is designed for the 6-inch Kindle 11th Gen, not the Paperwhite 11th Gen. It weighs 3.16 ounces, which is nearly double the weight of the Strapsicle case. The color is gray forest, offering less visibility than the clear silicone design. It includes auto sleep features, which the Strapsicle case does not explicitly list. The dimensions are 4.53 by 6.38 inches. It provides a slim profile for the smaller 6-inch device. Pick this if you own a 6-inch Kindle 11th Gen and want precise fit. It does not fit the larger Paperwhite, so it is not a direct alternative for your current device.
MoKo Rose Gold Case for 6" Kindle
This MoKo Case is for the 6-inch Kindle 2024 or 2022 models. It weighs 4.5 ounces, making it significantly heavier than the 1.76-ounce Strapsicle case. The rose gold color is opaque, unlike the transparent silicone of the Strapsicle case. It includes a hand strap and card storage, features not mentioned for the Strapsicle option. The dimensions are 4.72 by 6.5 inches. It is designed for one-handed reading on smaller Kindles. Choose this if you have a 6-inch Kindle and want extra storage or a strap. It is not compatible with Kindle Paperwhite devices, so it serves a different user base.
