Strapsicle Silicone Clutch Bag Your e-Reader Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How Alternatives Compare

PocketBook Era 7-Inch Shell Cover

The PocketBook Era Shell Cover targets a specific device, the 7-inch PocketBook Era, rather than the generic 6-inch or 6.8-inch e-readers supported by the Strapsicle. It offers a slim profile at 0.51 inches thick, significantly thinner than the 1.26-inch depth of the silicone clutch. This design prioritizes minimal bulk and precise fit over the versatile storage space of the Strapsicle. You gain a lightweight option at 4.55 ounces, ideal for those who dislike extra padding. However, it lacks the ability to hold phones or keys. Choose this if you own a PocketBook Era and want a snug, auto-sleep shell without the bulk of a pouch.

PocketBook Era 7-Inch Flip Cover

This PocketBook Era Flip Cover is designed exclusively for the 7-inch PocketBook Era, contrasting with the Strapsicle’s compatibility with 6-inch and 6.8-inch devices from various brands. It features a flip form factor with a 0.63-inch thickness, offering more coverage than a simple shell but less volume than the clutch. Weighing only 2.89 ounces, it is lighter than the Strapsicle. The design includes auto-sleep functionality for device protection. It does not accommodate smaller e-readers or additional items like phones. Select this cover if you own a PocketBook Era and need secure, lightweight protection with a flip design rather than a multi-purpose pouch.

PocketBook Era 7-Inch Auto-Sleep Shell Cover

The PocketBook Era Auto-Sleep Shell Cover is tailored for the 7-inch PocketBook Era, unlike the Strapsicle which fits 6-inch and 6.8-inch models. It provides a lightweight shell solution at 4.59 ounces, focusing on simple protection rather than the extra storage capacity of the clutch. The cover includes auto sleep/wake features for convenience. Its dimensions are tailored to the Era, so it will not fit smaller e-readers or hold accessories like keys. This option is best for PocketBook Era users who want a precise, slim fit with smart features, sacrificing the versatility and soft silicone material of the Strapsicle for device-specific optimization.

PocketBook Era 7-Inch Flip Cover

This PocketBook Era Flip Cover in beige is specific to the 7-inch PocketBook Era, differing from the Strapsicle’s broader compatibility with 6-inch and 6.8-inch e-readers. It offers a lightweight flip design at 2.82 ounces, significantly lighter than the silicone clutch. The cover includes smart-sleep functionality to preserve battery life. Its dimensions are fixed to the Era, so it cannot hold other devices or small essentials. The flip form factor provides screen protection but lacks the spacious interior of the clutch. Choose this if you own a PocketBook Era and prefer a lightweight, smart-sleep flip cover over a versatile, soft silicone pouch.

PocketBook Era Charge Canvas Cover

The PocketBook Era Charge Canvas Cover is designed for the 7-inch PocketBook Era, unlike the Strapsicle which supports 6-inch and 6.8-inch models. It features a canvas material and a slim 0.63-inch profile, offering a snug fit without the soft silicone texture of the clutch. Weighing 4.59 ounces, it is comparable in weight but lacks the extra storage space. This cover prioritizes a precise, lightweight canvas fit over the multi-purpose utility of the Strapsicle. It does not accommodate smaller e-readers or additional items. Pick this option if you own a PocketBook Era and value a slim, canvas protective cover with a snug fit rather than a versatile, spacious clutch.

MoKo 6-Inch Kindle Stand Case

The MoKo 6-Inch Kindle Stand Case is built specifically for 6-inch Kindles, matching the lower end of the Strapsicle’s compatibility range but excluding 6.8-inch models. It features a stand design for hands-free reading, a feature absent in the flat Strapsicle clutch. Weighing 4.5 ounces, it is lighter than the clutch and offers a slim 0.67-inch profile. The case includes auto-sleep functionality for convenience. However, it lacks the spacious interior for holding phones or keys. Choose this case if you own a 6-inch Kindle and prioritize portable protection with a stand feature over the versatile, soft silicone storage of the Strapsicle.
