6 Best Alternatives to the WALNEW 6-7" Universal Waterproof Case (2026)

If you are looking for walnew universal waterproof ereader protective alternatives, you should first understand what the original model provides. The WALNEW case uses a PVC dry bag design with three zip lock strips to seal out water. It fits devices between six and seven inches, including Kindle Paperwhite and Kobo Clara models. The clear material lets you see the screen, and the included lanyard aids carrying. These specifications make it a solid choice for beach or poolside reading where full submersion protection is needed.
However, you might want a different option for several reasons. Some readers prefer a floating design to prevent loss in water, while others need a case that is specific to their device model rather than universal. Others may prioritize a different color or a heavier build for rugged outdoor use. The alternatives on this list were chosen because their specs overlap with the original. They offer similar waterproof protection but vary in form factor, attachment method, and compatibility. You can compare these options to find the best fit for your specific reading habits and environment.
Our top pick: WALNEW 6-7" Universal Waterproof Case.
How each alternative compares
EMSEEK Waterproof Blue E-Reader Pouch
The EMSEEK pouch measures 6.3 by 9.45 inches, making it larger than the WALNEW case. It weighs 4.9 ounces, which is more than double the weight of the WALNEW option at 2.2 ounces. This extra size accommodates bulkier gear but reduces portability. The EMSEEK model focuses on water sports and outdoor activities. You gain more internal space for accessories but lose the compact feel of the original. The thicker profile may be less convenient for quick pocket storage. Choose this if you need room for extra items.
JYGSFCHDC 7-Inch Waterproof Pouch
The JYGSFCHDC pouch is designed for underwater eReader protection. It shares the seven-inch screen size compatibility with the WALNEW case. This model prioritizes visibility during submersion. You get a practical dry bag solution for water activities. The JYGSFCHDC option lacks specific weight or dimension details in the provided data. This makes direct size comparison difficult. It suits readers who need clear visibility underwater. The focus is on keeping the device dry while maintaining access. It is a straightforward alternative for swimmers who want reliable protection without extra bulk.
VOXSANEY 6-7" Waterproof eReader Case (2-Pack)
The VOXSANEY case offers a floating feature that the WALNEW model does not. It comes in a two-pack, providing double the protection for your devices. This is ideal for swimmers who prioritize buoyancy. The dimensions match the WALNEW case at 5.91 by 7.87 inches. However, the VOXSANEY model emphasizes volume over screen visibility. You get the benefit of floating if you drop it in water. This makes it a safer choice for active swimming. The dual-pack adds value for households with multiple e-readers.
eMorevalue 7-Inch Waterproof E-Reader Pouch
The eMorevalue pouch is available in black, unlike the blue WALNEW case. It weighs 2.47 ounces, slightly heavier than the original. This model supports touch screen access through the material. It includes a lanyard for easy carrying during beach or water sports activities. The eMorevalue option is a practical dry bag for users who prefer darker colors. You get similar waterproof protection with a different aesthetic. The added weight is minimal but noticeable. It is a solid choice for those who want a lanyard for secure handling.
NAWVNMI Kindle Oasis Waterproof Case
The NAWVNMI case is designed specifically for the Kindle Oasis 9th or 10th generation. It does not fit other six to seven-inch devices like the WALNEW case does. This model includes an auto sleep and wake feature. You get targeted protection for a specific device rather than universal compatibility. The NAWVNMI option is secure for daily reading. It sacrifices versatility for specialized functionality. Choose this if you own a Kindle Oasis and want auto wake features. It is not suitable for other e-readers or tablets.
NAWVNMI 7" Kindle Oasis Waterproof Case
This NAWVNMI case is another option for the Kindle Oasis 7-inch model. It shares the auto sleep and wake features of the previous NAWVNMI entry. It provides scratch protection and waterproofing for the specific device. Like the other NAWVNMI model, it does not work for other devices. You lose the universal fit that the WALNEW case offers. This case is for Kindle Oasis owners who need precise fitment. It is a practical cover for daily use. It does not offer the flexibility to protect multiple device types.
