6 Best Alternatives to the HUION 10.3" E-Ink Tablet Dual (2026)

How each alternative compares

Apple iPad 10.2-inch 128GB Silver

The Apple iPad 10.2-inch 128GB offers significantly more local storage than the Huion EB1011. While the Huion provides 64GB, this iPad doubles that capacity. You also get a larger 10.2-inch screen, which is slightly smaller than the Huion's 10.3-inch display. This device uses a standard LCD, not E-Ink, so it lacks the paper-like reading experience and eye comfort of the Huion. It does not have a front light for reading in the dark. You choose this if you need ample space for apps and media, and do not require glare-free reading or long battery life. It is a general-purpose tablet rather than a dedicated note-taking device.

Apple iPad 10.2-inch 64GB Silver

This 64GB Apple iPad 10.2-inch matches the Huion EB1011 in storage capacity. The screen size is nearly identical at 10.2 inches versus 10.3 inches. Like the other iPad, it uses an LCD display without a front light, meaning it reflects ambient light and is less suitable for reading in dim conditions. You lose the E-Ink technology and the battery-free stylus support found on the Huion. This model is lighter at one pound. It fits users who want a familiar interface and portability for light tasks. It is a better choice if you prioritize touch performance and app versatility over distraction-free reading.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 7-Inch 32GB

The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is much smaller at 7 inches, compared to the Huion's 10.3-inch display. You give up large-screen note-taking for a compact, portable device. This model includes 32GB of storage, which is half the Huion's 64GB. It adds wireless charging, a feature absent on the Huion. The E-Ink display here is optimized for books, not documents or handwriting. You also get waterproofing, which the Huion does not list. This is the best pick if you focus on cord-free charging and dedicated reading. It is not suitable if you need to annotate large PDFs or use a stylus for creative work.

Apple iPad 11-inch (A16, 5G Cellular)

The Apple iPad 11-inch with 5G Cellular offers 128GB of storage, double the Huion's 64GB. The screen is 11 inches, slightly larger than the Huion's 10.3-inch panel. You get a bright Liquid Retina display and Touch ID security, which the Huion lacks. This device supports cellular connectivity, allowing internet access without Wi-Fi, a feature the Huion does not mention. You sacrifice E-Ink technology and the specialized stylus experience. This iPad is heavier at 1.06 pounds. It is the right choice if you need vibrant visuals and cellular connectivity. It is not ideal for users who prioritize eye comfort and long battery life over high-speed performance.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 7-Inch 32GB

This Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 7-inch has 32GB of storage, which is less than the Huion's 64GB. The 7-inch screen is significantly smaller, making it less suitable for large documents or split-screen reading. It features a front light for reading in various conditions, similar to the Huion. You gain portability and a focused reading experience. This model is designed for books rather than note-taking or drawing. You lose the ability to use a stylus or convert handwriting to text. It is best for readers who value battery life and compact size. It is not a good alternative if you need a larger screen for professional annotations or creative work.

Amazon Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition 7"

The Amazon Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition 7-inch offers 32GB of storage, half the Huion's capacity. The 7-inch screen is smaller, limiting document viewing space. This device features a color E-Ink display, providing vibrant visuals for comics and magazines, which the Huion does not support. It includes a front light and waterproofing. You give up the larger 10.3-inch screen and stylus functionality. This model is compact and portable. It is ideal for users who prioritize color visuals in a small form factor. It is not suitable for professional note-taking or document annotation. Choose this if you want a distraction-free color reading experience in a waterproof, aluminum body.
