The reMarkable 7.3" Paper Pro Move focuses on portable color e-ink note-taking with a dedicated folio design. If you are searching for remarkable 7 3 paper pro move alternatives, you might need a different form factor or connectivity. This device offers a 7.3" Canvas Color display and weighs 1.05 pounds. It is built for distraction-free writing with a Marker Plus stylus. However, you may prefer a larger screen or cellular connectivity for broader use cases.
We selected 6 alternatives because their specifications overlap with the original. Some options provide larger 10.2-inch or 12.9-inch screens for more workspace. Others include cellular features or higher storage capacities for data-heavy tasks. While the reMarkable excels as a focused writing tool, these alternatives suit users who need general-purpose tablets. You might choose a standard iPad if you prioritize app versatility over e-ink technology. This list compares devices based on screen size, weight, and storage to help you find the right fit.
Our top pick: reMarkable 7.3" Paper Pro Move with Folio.
How each alternative compares
Apple iPad 10.2-inch 128GB Silver
The Apple iPad 10.2-inch 128GB offers significantly more local storage than the reMarkable Paper Pro Move. You get 128GB of space for documents and media, whereas the reMarkable relies on cloud syncing for note organization. The screen is larger at a standard 10.2-inch size, which provides more writing area but reduces portability. It weighs 1.09 pounds, slightly heavier than the reMarkable’s 1.05 pounds. This device lacks e-ink technology, so it uses a standard LCD. You should choose this if you need ample local storage and do not require the paper-like writing experience of the reMarkable. It is a budget-friendly option for users who prioritize screen real estate and data capacity over battery life and distraction-free writing.
Apple iPad 10.2-inch 64GB Silver
The Apple iPad 10.2-inch 64GB provides a compact screen size that is larger than the reMarkable’s 7.3-inch display. It offers 64GB of storage, which is more than the reMarkable’s cloud-dependent model. The device is lighter at 1 pound compared to the reMarkable’s 1.05 pounds. However, it uses an LCD display rather than e-ink, meaning it does not offer the same paper-like writing feel. It lacks cellular connectivity, relying on Wi-Fi only. This tablet is suitable for users who want a portable device with decent storage for reading and basic tasks. It is a good alternative if you prefer a larger screen than the reMarkable but do not need the specialized e-ink features or the folio design included with the Paper Pro Move.
Apple iPad 11-inch (A16, 5G Cellular)
The Apple iPad 11-inch A16 includes 5G cellular connectivity, which the reMarkable Paper Pro Move does not have. This allows you to stay connected on the go without Wi-Fi. It features an 11-inch display, which is larger than the reMarkable’s 7.3-inch screen. The device weighs 1.06 pounds, similar to the reMarkable’s 1.05 pounds. It offers 128GB of storage and includes Touch ID for security. Unlike the reMarkable’s e-ink display, this uses a standard LCD. This tablet is ideal for users who need cellular connectivity and a larger screen for mixed use. It is a versatile choice for those who want a powerful device for both productivity and media consumption, rather than a dedicated note-taking tool.
Apple iPad Pro 12.9-Inch (512GB, Silver)
The Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch 512GB offers a much larger 12.9-inch display compared to the reMarkable’s 7.3-inch screen. It includes 512GB of storage, providing ample space for large files and apps. The device weighs only 10.4 ounces, making it lighter than the reMarkable Paper Pro Move, which weighs 1.05 pounds. It uses a standard LCD display rather than e-ink. This tablet is designed for users who prioritize screen real estate and processing power. It is suitable for creative tasks and professional work that require a large canvas. If you need a powerful device for mixed use and do not require the paper-like writing experience, this is a strong alternative. It lacks the folio design and distraction-free focus of the reMarkable.
Apple iPad Pro 12.9-Inch (M2, Cellular)
The Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch M2 includes 5G cellular connectivity, which the reMarkable Paper Pro Move lacks. It features a large 12.9-inch XDR display, offering superior brightness and color accuracy compared to the reMarkable’s e-ink screen. The device weighs 1.51 pounds, significantly heavier than the reMarkable’s 1.05 pounds. It includes 128GB of storage. This tablet is built for professionals who need robust performance for creative or business tasks. It is a powerful option for users who prioritize screen quality and connectivity. If you need a large, bright display for detailed work and do not mind the extra weight, this is a suitable alternative. It sacrifices the portability and paper-like writing feel of the reMarkable for greater power and screen size.
Apple iPad 11-inch 128GB (Renewed)
The Apple iPad 11-inch 128GB (Renewed) provides 128GB of storage, which is more than the reMarkable’s cloud-based model. It features an 11-inch display, larger than the reMarkable’s 7.3-inch screen. The device weighs 1.05 pounds, matching the reMarkable’s weight. It uses a standard LCD display rather than e-ink. This renewed model includes a long warranty, which is not specified for the reMarkable. It is suitable for users who prioritize screen size and app versatility. If you want a capable multimedia tablet with strong storage and do not need the paper-like writing experience, this is a good option. It lacks the distraction-free design and folio accessory of the reMarkable Paper Pro Move, offering a more general-purpose computing experience instead.
