The Amazon Fire HD 8 shares the 8-inch screen size and 64GB storage capacity, but it swaps the FHD display for a standard HD resolution. It also lacks the 4GB RAM found in the TCL Tab 8 Plus. This model prioritizes Alexa integration and battery life over raw performance or sharp visuals. You should choose this device if you mainly consume media or control smart home devices and do not need the Google Play Store or high-resolution text. It is slightly larger and heavier than the TCL option, measuring 5.41 by 7.95 inches with a weight of 11.8 ounces. The black color option provides a classic look for portable use.

The screen size increase gives you more room for reading and browsing, though the device is physically larger at 8.8 by 5.5 inches. You should pick this alternative if you want a bit more screen real estate while keeping the same memory specs. It is ideal for users who find the 8-inch display too small for comfortable daily productivity or media consumption. The Luna Gray finish adds a professional aesthetic to the device.

The Carbon Gray color offers a neutral look suitable for everyday use.
